Pacesetters Organization Receives Funding From Knights of Columbus

On Dec. 5, members of the Knights of Columbus Council 14902 of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church visited Pacesetters in Sparta to present a check for $18,798 to Pacesetters of Sparta to aid with the purchase of six new handicap accessible vans.
Knights Tootsie Roll Drive October 26-27

Knights Donate $6,900 to Michael Dunn Center
Knights of Columbus Father Callahan Council 8273 presented checks totaling $6,900 to the Michael Dunn Center on March 13. The council from Blessed Sacrament Parish in Harriman applied for and received a grant of $5,000 from the Tennessee State Knights of Columbus MR Foundation, which supports intellectually challenged citizens by funding housing, educational, transportation, and recreational programs. Knights of Columbus Father Callahan Council 8273 presents checks for $6,900 to the Michael Dunn Center. The council from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Harriman received a $5,000 grant from the Tennessee State Knights of Columbus MR Foundation, which supports intellectually challenged individuals by funding housing, educational,transportation and recreational programs. The grant will be used to help renovate a bathroom in one of the group homes to accommodate wheelchair service recipients.
